The
new 'Whip Man' style keepers Most other keepers only have one
- two layers of leather. My unique keepers have three layers
of leather plus a braided layer over the top
forming a unified junction that is definitely stronger whilst
still being flexible. Therefore any possible failure through
wear & tear is eliminated from this area.

Problems with fall
The
photos below are showing the problems encountered when the fall
is cutting into the plaited thong of the whip. To stop this problem
replace the fall when it breaks back to the two foot length.
Most
of the problems with the cracker cutting back onto the thong
is because of two things.
1.
The cracker is to short and or the fall is to short.
2.
The person cracking the whip is using to much wrist action.
